Key Takeaways
Tell us about your story.
I have been diagnosed with several dysrhythmias - Supraventricular Tachycardia (SVT), Atrial Fibrillation, Atrial Tachycardia. I've also experienced Ventricular Tachycardia (VT), Premature Atrial Contractions (PAC), and Premature Ventricular Contractions (PVC).
Anyway, I felt these for a long time and could never quite catch them. And little quick ECGs in the doctor's office weren't really catching anything. And it wasn't until I had my first Apple Watch ECG analyzed by QALY that I caught some of the dysrhythmias, and they gave me a whole breakdown on what they were or what it was at the time. And through that, I was able to contact an electrophysiologist and send everything to them. I went in for an appointment. They looked at everything. They agreed with the technicians (of QALY), and I was scheduled for my first ablation.
What’s it like living with all these arrhythmias?
Living with these arrhythmias has been life-changing. I was a normal, healthy person until all of this hit me out of nowhere, and adjusting to life to slow down and accommodate it has been very difficult for me, but we'll get there.
What do you most like about the QALY app?
If I ever have a question or want to verify that an ECG reading is something, I send it right over to the QALY app. I can put notes in the feedback or note section for them. And, so far, I've not had anything come back incorrect. It's been an amazing tool, and almost like a piece of security for peace of mind. So, thank you...
